Sharing the wonders of Japanese honeybees with the world!
Japanese honeybees are a unique native species found only in Japan. For centuries, they have played an essential role in the country’s ecosystem. Smaller and more charming than Western honeybees, they produce a rare and richly flavored honey, with only 10 to 15 kilograms harvested per hive each year.
We are excited to share this extraordinary honey, exclusively harvested in Japan, along with the fascinating world of Japanese honeybee beekeeping, with people around the globe!
Making up only 0.1% of all honey made in Japan
Honey from Japanese honeybees is exceptionally rare, representing only 0.1% of the honey market in Japan.
We take pride in managing every step, from beekeeping to honey harvesting, to ensure the finest quality.

Daisen Honey White(Raw Caramel)
This is an exceptionally rare white crystallized honey, even among the already scarce honey produced by Japanese honeybees. Often called "Japanese honeybee fresh caramel," it has a smooth texture with delightfully grainy honey crystals, making it an absolute delicacy.
Daisen Honey
This is pure, unprocessed honey from rare Japanese honeybees, bottled in its natural form. Compared to ordinary honey, it boasts a richness and depth of flavor that will truly amaze you.

Delivered from Mount Daisen in Tottori Prefecture
Our honey is made by Japanese honeybees thriving in the pristine nature of Mount Daisen, the tallest peak in the Chugoku region and ranked among Japan's top three most famous mountains.
Collected from the nectar of seasonal flowers that bloom throughout the ever-changing landscapes of Mount Daisen, this rare honey is a true treasure we’re proud to share with you.

"Hundred-flower honey"
Japanese honeybees have a distinctive way of collecting nectar. Unlike Western honeybees, which gather nectar as a swarm from a single type of flower—creating "single-flower honey" such as acacia or lavender—Japanese honeybees collect nectar from more than 100 different types of flowers. This diverse collection is known as "Hyakkamitsu," or "Hundred-flower honey."
The blend of nectar from so many flowers gives each batch its own unique taste and aroma, making Japanese honeybee honey truly special and intriguing.

"Potential Beauty Effects"
Honey is said to offer a variety of beauty benefits:
・Moisturizing Effect: Components like fructose and glucose help prevent skin dryness.
・Antibacterial Effect: Helps balance the skin, preventing acne and other blemishes.
・Brightening Effect: Inhibits the activity of tyrosinase, an enzyme essential for melanin production, which can cause spots and freckles.
・Skin-Enhancing Effect: Vitamins such as B-complex, B12, and niacin contribute to the health of skin and mucous membranes, supporting the skin's natural regeneration cycle.
Honey’s natural properties make it a versatile and effective ingredient for skincare.

The Honey-Based Diet
Honey is about 1.3 times sweeter than sugar, yet a tablespoon contains only 64 calories—20 fewer than sugar’s 84 calories. Additionally, honey has a lower glycemic index compared to sugar, meaning it causes a slower rise in blood sugar levels. This helps prevent sudden spikes, reduces the risk of overeating, and satisfies sweet cravings with a smaller amount.
What’s more, the fructose and glucose in honey play a key role in energy metabolism, making it a healthier and more efficient source of natural sweetness.
"The Benefits of Consistently Using Honey"
Honey offers various benefits when used consistently. It’s especially recommended for breakfast or after exercise, as it helps replenish energy and aids in recovery from fatigue.
Honey contains polyphenols with antioxidant properties that help eliminate reactive oxygen species, a major cause of weakened immune function.
Honey contains vitamins like vitamin C, amino acids, and polyphenols, which are known to help improve and maintain healthy skin.
Honey contains nutrients such as glucose, fructose, vitamins, and minerals, which support brain activation and enhance cognitive function.
Honey contains gluconic acid, which serves as food for beneficial bacteria, such as bifidobacteria, helping to improve gut health.
Honey has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, which can help soothe sore throats and relieve discomfort such as scratchiness.
A study conducted by the University of Toronto in Canada found that consuming two tablespoons of honey daily may help improve blood sugar and cholesterol levels, contributing to better cardiovascular and metabolic health.
